Tasker Insurance
All Taskers on BCAA Task Marketplace have Tasker Insurance included in their subscription. With Tasker Insurance, Taskers can submit a claim on eligible damage or injuries* that occur during a task.

Who is Eligible?*
To be eligible for a claim, Taskers must meet conditions that include:
- The Tasker must have an account on BCAA Task Marketplace
- The Task must be booked, completed and fully paid through BCAA Task Marketplace
- The Tasker must perform the task themselves
- The Task must be completed as outlined in the task booking
- The Tasker must not violate the Terms of Service of the Marketplace
- Any eligible damage occurred within 30 days of the task being performed
- The Tasker must report any claim to BCAA within 90 days of the task being completed
- The Tasker must let BCAA know if they have any other external insurance coverage
Currently, customers are not able to start claims for Tasker Insurance.
Examples of Exclusions and Limitations*
Coverage applies to eligible tasks.* Certain types of work or situations are not covered, including but not limited to:
- Poor workmanship, poor quality work, or the cost to repair, replace, or redo work
- Expected or intended bodily injury or property damage
- Medical or health services
- Cosmetic or aesthetic services
- Any professional services requiring specialized licensing or qualifications
- Cyber losses, including data erasure, corruption, disruption, or misuse
- Asbestos, silica, fungi, or spores
How to Report a Claim
If you are a Tasker, please contact the Task Marketplace Customer Success team at [email protected] or at 1.833.531.7400 to start the claims process. If you would like to speak to someone about your ongoing claim, please reach out to your adjuster directly.
Customers cannot start claims. If you are a customer and have experienced property damage or bodily injury because of a performed Task, you can contact your Tasker or the Task Marketplace Customer Success team to discuss next steps.
